By electricguy No beefs at all except you can sometimes trigger the buttons if you keep the fob in your pocket. Overall quality is high. Directions are very good. Will buy another Avital alarm.

"Seeker of All Good Things"
I was new to remote starters and car alarms. I bought this for my mother's Honda Civic in Toronto, to spare her from having to come out to a cold car every morning. I found a guy to do the installation on Craigslist for about $150 (to setup the starter and alarm). It worked great right from the beginning. I love the beeps and sounds it makes. Different sounds for car locking and unlocking. Alarm is LOUD. Starter works well and has a pretty long range. Even the key fob itself is pretty cool!

By joseph got the alarm to protect my stereo and the auto start for the winter. the price was right and did the install myself. Everything woks great. If you park far away from your house or apartment you might want to add another siren. Besides that i was well pleased with my product.
