Bought this for my home since I was having some input noise problems at my home.
The house is completely wired all the way to the basement. There are 3.5mm input jacks in every room, and the cable travels all the way to the basement, together with several ethernet and coax cables. I was careful to avoid electrical cabling.
Once testing with my amplifier, the sound quality was never the greatest, and when no music was being streamed, it would have that buzz noise sound. I hate it so much!
I decided to get this device thinking it would improve the input noise to my amplifier, which it not only did that, but completely eliminated the noise input I was facing.
It's such a simple device but worked like magic! I'm really happy with it and completely recommend it!
I know most applications for this device are in cars, but works great for homes as well!
Been using it for almost a year now and so far it still performs greatly!

I, like many others, have a satellite radio hooked up to the AUX input of my radio head unit, and as a result suffer terrible noise/whine from the car's alternator. After hooking this well-built ground isolator up, like magic (or the scientific properties of an isolation transformer, your choice) no more whine!
There are of course many of these products (isolation transformers) out there, but I like this one over some of the others because it seems very well built, and has fairly short leads which is nice since generally you install this in-line with existing wiring.
