By JK If you want remote start in a car with immobilizer you need to buy this simple device, works OK with the viper 5901 alarm and my Fiat Punto GT..

Works for compatible DEI manufactured Remote Start systems Nov 09, 2011
By Renny Yu This item is compatible with the Python 872 & is most likely compatible with almost all DEI manufactured remote start & security/remote start systems. You have to give up a Valet Key or have another key made with the chip built in.
