If you want remote start in a car with immobilizer you need to buy this simple device, works OK with the viper 5901 alarm and my Fiat Punto GT..

This item is compatible with the Python 872 & is most likely compatible with almost all DEI manufactured remote start & security/remote start systems. You have to give up a Valet Key or have another key made with the chip built in.

I bought few of them, but now I just make them: Hide a key from Walgreens, wrap two wires around the key, close the box...done. Check the diagram to see what it is for real, then...you will agree with me. Have fun !!
