4Switch to EXT-IN if you connect an iPod  May 01, 2008
I've had this unit in my Sienna for about a year now, and it has worked great. My only gripe is the iPod control (via the JVC KS-PD100) is horrible. I've recently switched the unit from iPod to EXT-IN which gives me back control on the iPod. I should have done that a year ago! The unit works great with an iPhone in this mode (doesn't work at all in iPod mode with an iPhone by the way). All you need is a bluetooth speakerphone on your visor and you're set.

5You won't find a better system in this price range  Aug 14, 2006
I fully agree with the previous review. It's definetly worth every penny.

The sound quality is crystal clear. I still have the original factory speakers in my 10 year old car but they sound great with this unit. It's pretty loud too so I don't need a separate amp.

There's only a few tiny drawbacks. You can't navigate mp3 files/folders on the units display whilst playing a track. So it can be difficult to find what you want on a Giga-mp3 DVD with up to 3000 tracks. This isn't a problem though if you add a monitor and use the OSD. Also, it wouldn't read Memorex DVD+R discs. I switched to Memorex DVD-R disc and they worked fine. However, maybe this could have been a problem with the DVD Burning software I was using (although they read fine in my PC's DVD drive).

Seriously, anything equal or better than this will probably cost nearly twice as much.

4DVD car radio  Jul 09, 2006
I didn't want to review this radio till I had it for a little while, now I've had it for about a month and it has worked great. I first tried a couple of cheep chinease ones and had multilple problems and ended returning them. This time I decieded to go with JVC since they made products I know and trust. I found it's definetly worth the money.

Pros
Great price for a car radio with dvd capabilities
Does Giga DVD that lets you put loads of mp3s on a DVD
Can Power multiple monitors (others I've tried can't)

Cons
Hard to navagate multiple MP3 songs files without using an external monitor
cannot fast-forward/rw inside mp3 files

Overall a great buy for the money
