 Great deal for an economy car stereo Jan 15, 2012

Bought this from Best Buy on black Friday for $69+ tax because I needed to replace the stereo in my work truck. The sound is GREAT, even with some old door speakers from the previous owners. I am partial to Alpine or Kenwood car audio products, but I bought this because I wanted something cheap to throw into my work truck and as it turns out I ended up with a pretty awesome stereo! I didn't even buy an adapter, just spliced into the existing adapter and it all worked great. Plugged a flash drive right into the front and it started playing all types of music files. On the display it identifies artist, song, album, title, my own custom folder names, etc. whatever info is available with the file, and same with CDs or custom CDs you burn. I am getting the Bluetooth adapter for this, and I am considering getting this model for my other vehicles instead of the more expensive brands. This is a great value - can't go wrong with this.

looks great and is perfect for what we are using it for. Remote only works if right in line with front of stereo, not from sides or at an angle of any kind. otherwise it is in great condition, and looks great!

My husband is into car stero systems and i know that he is very particular about his system. His previous receiver went bad after one year and i decided that i would research and get him a new one for Xmas 2011 and i did my research and came up with this one. I must say that i did a good job picking this one out. My husband absolutely love this "Receiver" i got two thumbs up for this buy.....so i would recommend JVC....

this is a great stereo , pretty easy to figure out , installation is real easy , installed one in my fathers 98 dodge ram with two 10" inch subs , jvc 6x9", 2/3 way crossover , some 1 1/2 " tweeters and two amps . combined with this jvc kd-r520, it was a great combo , now i ordered one for my car, for 78 bucks its a steal . just wished "cool n cheap" would ship it the day i order it , i cant stand sellers who wait three days to ship items so probably the last time i buy from this seller but anyway this car stereo is great.
