5Great sub for the price  Apr 04, 2012 By Mr187drama
I bought 4 of these back in like 2008 and put them in my blazer with a sealed box and a 1600 watt harrison labs 1600.1 amp. It was crazy how clean and hard that setup was hitting. I thought maybe it was so loud and clear just because I had 4 of them, but def not the case. I ended up buying a BMW 128i at the end of 09 and bout a ported box for 2 of the 12s. I'm willing to bet money that these 2 in a ported box sound better than the 4 in a sealed box. And if you tune everything just right, they will last forever as they are still currently going strong in my BMW right now.

1bad customer service and poor quality subwoofer  Mar 05, 2012 By cody
hits as hard as my 500 watt dual walmart subs and the seller replied to my emails with smart comments and just question marks. dont buy these spend the 3 extra dollars and buy the kenwood kfc w3013 1200 watts. i had those before. they blew my whole trunk apart in my old car

5Very good Kenwoods  Jan 28, 2012 By Rudy
I bought 2 of these kenwood subs with a 1600 watt amp and a dual box with a 2 farad capacitor and 4 guage wire. The subs have really good deep bass and pack quite the punch! They were a great buy and cheap for such good sound quality!

5Cliché: bumps hard, hits hard...  Oct 17, 2011 By Barry Allen
First, you get what you pay for. You are paying for a 200rms sub, which will not be enough for most people. I have my bass boost on +5 to get this thing enough power. I hooked up a mono D 200rms amp. Sub is in a 1.1 cubic feet sealed box in my trunk now. I used to have it right behind my seat haha. The rigidity of this sub is excellent and produces the hard hits. Some subs (especially old ones) only vibrate whenever they get a signal, but this thing is so accurate with the different frequencies. You can hear the difference in all the beats it plays. It also can vibrate quite well for some songs. The dual magnets seem to drive it superbly and accurately. Its on every beat. I have a Mitsubishi eclipse, so pretty small. I'm running the speaker at 4 ohms since I only have one sub. I don't know how much I'm pushing it, but I hope it lasts. I used 8AWG wire, no capacitor, no light problems. And I have listened with my car off for over 20 minutes so this thing seems kind to the battery so far.

5idk dont have it just writing to the guy that wrote last review  Jan 31, 2012 By Logan Guinn
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE SYSTEM WITH UR CAR NOT COMPLETELY ON. THAT IS TERRIBLE FOR A SUB BECAUSE IT IS NOT GETTING 12VOLTS LIKE IT NEEDS. THAT CAN BLOW YOUR SUB I BLEW A ROCKFORD FOSGATE PUNCH P2 12 DOIN THAT AND THAT SUB IS WAY MEANER THAN THIS KENWOOD EVERY THOUGHT ABOUT BEING JUST GIVING U A HEADS UP
