5A high-quality subwoofer  Jan 10, 2010 By Oseph S. Vetrano, Jr.
Needed to replaced the blown speaker in my Fender 115SA DJ subwoofer on short notice. No pro audio shop around had a 15" woofer in stock, so I gambled and tried a car audio store. Luckily, he had a Kicker C15 in an 8 ohm version. After installing it in the cabinet and powering it up, I noticed a world of difference compared to the paper cone woofer I was used to hearing. The bass felt deeper and sounded more responsive; not as muddy or muffled.

I really like the rubber surround and the poly cone. It makes it moisture resistant which is important when you DJ outside. If this is Kicker's entry-level speaker, I would love to hear what their other stuff is like!

5Kicker Comp 15"  Apr 24, 2009 By C. Simmons
Bought 2 of em for $80 each and they pack one heck of a punch for 250/500 Watts RMS, not costly and if you are looking for bang for the buck, these are the way to go.

2Cant Handle Power...  May 08, 2012 By FreshyDeff
i put this thing on a very strong amp and it blew the rubber sealings around the speaker clear out! looks like there was a stick of dynamite on the inside. if u plan on listening to loud music, especially for a long duration, then this speaker is not ur friend. died on me only after a few months. first power test took this thing off the planet for me. the solo baric was definitely the better choice as i still have it today, even after continuous abuse and hours of pounding on the highway.

5Being cheap  Jan 27, 2012 By P. C. Faust "BIG TWINS RULE"
I blew out some 20 year old Cerwin Vega 15"s in my home stereo. I had repaired them before (new suspension) and found that new kicker's were a more cost effective fix. Even though the speaker's ohms aren't matched to the amp, I notice no excessive heat from the amp. They put out lots of bass.

The speaker's are well constructed for the money. The cone is double stitched to the suspension where as the competition is glued.

Can't beat 'em for the money.

4kicker comp c15 15"  Sep 03, 2011 By Pablo Madrigal
Go two of these in my 1988 town car in a ported box, sound great, actually puts my kenwood amp to work that it overheats and turns off, so its a shame that i cant push as much as I'd like.
