Very loud deep bass. May 11, 2011
By Chad Gibson I am running one of Kicker's S15L7s in my blazer. Built a 6 cubic foot ported enclosure to kickers specs. i am running the sub off of a rockford fosgate power t1001bd-cp amlpifier. the amp's birth certificate rated it and 1456 watts rms @2ohms. Needless to say the 15 handles every bit of that power. Very loud DEEP bass in this box. However bass frequency's above 65 hertz seem to be substantially less prominent. i'm sure you would get a more even frequency response from a sealed enclosure. but who are we kidding anyone buying this sub is looking for crazy loud bass, not accurate frequency response. And crazy loud bass is what you will get with the 15 inch l7.

Crazy Sub Sep 30, 2011
By Eric When I previously bought subs. I would always go 2 twelves, i finally decided to try the 1 15, due to limited room in my car. I got a 3.5 cubic foot vented enclosure and im running it on a hfi 2000 watt amp, rated at 1300 for 2 ohms. So more realisticly it runs about 700 watts rms of power. Let me just say this sub blows away any 12 inch subs ive seen. For those of you who listen to rap and want bass that just shakes the crap out of your car, this is what you want. I wouldnt waste money getting anything else. Very loud, deep bass.
