Without an amp, these sound better than base Rockford Fosgates. Jun 25, 2011
By db I have these speakers in my 1970 Cyclone where I used to have Rockford Fosgate 6x9s. The reason I tried them was the 4x10 I ordered for the dash (which is a Performance Teknique) had clearer highs than the R.F. speakers. I was not disappointed by these 6x9's either. I can't vouch for how they sound with an amp, but they sounded louder, and clearer than the base Rockford Fosgates they replaced. At least when powered only by the dash unit.

By larry I would recommend these 6x9 speaker to any one who need some good sound quality speaker. I've had these speaker in my car for about 4yrs and 1 stop working. I bought another brand to replace them,but the system in car was too powerful. I search online and found these speaker now I'm happy again.
