5Clean tight powerfull bass !  Apr 05, 2011 By Jay_Castro "Javier Castro Jiménez"
Have just had it installed for about a week, but so far it performs great ! Very sturdy and quality made speaker ! I like the reinforced wide roll surround, it's wide and provides great suspension for the cone. This is a Pioneer Premier sub, pioneer does great subs and this one is their elite line, Premier. It's selling for a great price too, just need to make sure that if you are going to use it as single subwoofer, you need to get a powerful sub amp, because this sub can only be wired into 2 ohms or 8 ohms, and if you prefer 8 ohms, which will give you a more clean bass, you need to get an amp that is rated at least at 1000 watts @ 4 ohms, because remember that gets divided into half, 500 watts at 8 ohms. This sub is rated at 400 watts rms, so it would be good to get an amp that says 1000 x 1 watts @ 4 ohms, since most class d amps normally loose eficiency and work at 80%. I recomend the Planet Audio model AC3000.1D, it is a great reliable amp and that would make this sub sound great and you can get it below 200 dollars

4great subs for a tight budget!  Feb 17, 2009 By Ernest Camarena Jr.
These subs are name brand and a pretty cheap......Ill tell you i spent like [...]bucks for my box amp and the 2 12"s. The subs hit real hard and sound crisp. i have a 600 watt amp pushing them and i cant complain i highly recommend these subs if you looking for some bang in your car and dont really want to spend a whole lot.
