5Great value!  Dec 05, 2011 By Scott Barnes
I have been very pleased with this amp! I don't really know what the actual wattage is. But I don't really care. I was building a budget system, and this was the best amp for me. I have it pushing 2x Kenwood Kenwood KFCW3013 / KFCW3013PS / KFCW3013PS 12 Car Subwoofer 12" subwoofers wired at 2ohms. Even though they are in a tiny, 0.75 cube/sub box, they hit HARD. The amp barely even gets warm after bumping for 30-45 minutes. The build quality feels very sturdy. I'm pleased with the amp. Never had a Power Acoustik product before, but they have me as a customer!

2Not as good as i thought  Nov 13, 2011 By Zach
Previously i had bought a Power Acoustik amp froma guy for $20 and felt like i had bought a $200 amp because it hit so hard. After trying to find a new amp just to upgrade, i tried a Hifonics 1000.1d, Crunch GPV2100.1 ground pounder, and this. The hifonics and this one are very similar due to the RMS it puts out at 2 ohms and they are class D amps, but the only problem is, is they dont hit that hard. I kept the crunch gpv, and sent this back the day after. The settings were hard to work with, cause i really couldnt tune it, and the gain control was more of an on/off switch going from no gain to 100% with a slight turn. Save your time and money, go for the GPV2100.1, its about the same price.

1not worth the price  Aug 04, 2011 By sidharth sood
I bought an Alpine amp, little more expensive than this, but decided to return it as reviews for this were good and saved me some money, and most of all has a bass remote but boy was I disappointed with this esp after having used and listened to the output of alpine. No settings could get this to make a good sound, nothing close to alpine. I will stick to alpine, lesson learned the hard way...btw the remote is useless as it only increases the distortion...

4Fine Amp  May 23, 2010 By D. Santurri
Overall a good buy if your looking for a lot of watts for your money. Quality isn't bad, the controls are "meh" and its important to note that this is not "CEA-2006 Compliant". Meaning... take the RMS power rating with a grain of salt. Any brand name amplifier (Kicker, Alpine, Hifonics Brutus and etc) that are "CEA-2006 Compliant" will be louder, but at a cost. ($$$)

CEA-2006 Compliant
On May 28, 2003, the Consumer Electronics Association published standard CEA-2006, "Testing & Measurement Methods for Mobile Audio Amplifiers." This "voluntary" standard advocates a uniform method for determining an amplifier's RMS power and signal-to-noise ratio. Using 14.4 volts, RMS watts are measured into a 4-ohm impedance load at 1 percent Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) plus noise, at a frequency range (for general purpose amplifiers) of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Signal-to-Noise ratio is measured in weighted absolute decibels (dBA) at a reference of 1 watt into 4 ohms. This applies to both external amplifiers and the amplifiers within in-dash receivers.

5Awesome Amp  May 12, 2010 By Jesse James
Great amp has 600 watt RMS which goes perfect with the sub I installed with it that requires 400-800 watt RMS. I havnt had any heating issues with this amp so far I am very pleased with it. I wasnt really expecting much when I bought it mainly because of the price I figured cheap price for a cheap product, but it has been anything but a cheap product. It pushes my rockford sub better than my friends memphis for his rockford sub. I would definatley recomend this product to some one but make sure this amp would work for your application.
