Great bang for the buck Dec 09, 2008
By Michael Bruns I am somewhat of an audiophile, though like many, I am on a budget. This unit provides everything for a great price:
-Nice and sharp sound,
-Wonderful picture quality
-SD slot allows access to several songs without taking up the DVD slot
-iPod integration
-Video inputs and outputs
-Rear-view camera mode that will automatically activate when the vehicle is put into reverse.
I love the 'ghost' interface (the unit completely blacks out and sits flat when turned off). The buttons are all easily reached and well-defined. The touchscreen works wonderfully, and for those who like to use remotes, this one has it all.
The built-in graphics aren't anything special, and I have yet to discover a clock display, but other than that, this unit meets or exceeds my expectations. If you're thinking about picking this up, do it and make yourself happy.
size matters Jun 03, 2010
By Jason E. Mcdonald i have a pretty normal truck. 2006 nissan frontier. when i pulled my old stereo out to put this dvd player in, it would not fit. i would have had to cut my dash. guy at the stereo store told me these off brands would have odd sizes and will end up being about the same price as a really nice one after you get all the work done to have it fit.
Great Price, Not that many functions Dec 13, 2009
By Carlos A. Guzman Diaz Considering the price its an excellent product i have been using this product for over a month now and so far had no troubles with it.
The only thing i dint like is that it doesnt have that many functions as other DVDs have, one of them being VIDEO input; but for the price is worth it.!
good product... but notice... Dec 03, 2009
By Happy Buyer Really like the product, great graphics, great display, works very well
However, beware that when the product says motorized that it is only for a tilt forward or backward. The product does not flip down and away into the console, or flip over to hide the screen. Which I would have preferred. About twice the size of a normal head unit so make sure it can fit into your car before you buy.
Other than that it is the best product that you can get for the price with all of its features, just don't forget to get the ipod connection cable if you want to play your ipod through the unit.
Good for the Price, but Lacking Nov 08, 2009

As far as in-dash displays go, this is about the only one you can find for less than $200. Overall
The Good:
As a DVD player, this unit works great. It even has DVD memory to start over where you left off when you turn on/off the radio or shut off the car
It will even play DVD's with recorded in XVID .avi format
It also has a built in FM / AM radio, with memory for up to 12 FM stations and 6 AM stations
The video display is bright and clear, and will automatically dim or can be connected to your headlights to dim when your headlights are turned on, which keeps the unit from being too bright at night
The touch screen works flawlessly, and recognizes the lightest touch
The bad:
It does remember the DVD playback location, and will continue where you left off, but for anything else digital (digital movies / MP3's it starts over from the beginning)
It doesn't seem to recognize MP4 format movies
The radio display looks like the "blue screen of death" which many PC users are familiar with, and doesn't have any way to add a customized background or anything that looks better than a circa 1981 computer GUI
The radio also seems to have trouble picking up signals, as you travel about 20 miles from their source
Requires separate cable to connect ipod, not included
