Perfect fit Feb 08, 2011

This is a pretty awesome replacemnt dash. The finish matches the dash exactly and I really like the untextured look as opposed to the stock textured look. Installation was easy
My only gripe is the front pocket could of been designed a little better. Its totally functional but some sorta material like rubber when a been a nice way to line the inside. Not a big deal though.
Also, there are two holes in the back of the pocket, which for me I made use of by running my aux cable through it to hide it
It scratches pretty easy so ya need to be a little careful
Someone said in their review that their stereo fit kinda loosley... well, mine doesnt. Infact it's sits perfectly.
Also, not related to the product.. but taking out the hazard light and clock off the stock stereo dash... ITS A TOTAL PITA! But when you do get it out, it will drop in the new dash with no problem.

I installed this unit in my 06 Tacoma with a JVC-R900 deck. The deck and the stock hazard lights/clock unit fit in perfectly fine (although that unit is a pain in the rear trying to get out of the stock mount). The mount does not have the factory dimpled finish to it, but the color matches pretty well. The only real issue that I have is that there's nothing to secure the mount on the top, only the four factory 10mm bolts on the bottom. This is the same for the factory radio, but this unit does not fit as well. The top portion moves around a bit and can be pulled down very easily. It doesn't fit flush were the stock unit sat, there's small gaps and the edges stick out a bit.
For the price it's not bad, but it's not good either. Wish I would have gotten a different one to be honest.

I ordered this product after reading others reviews. The one thing I saw most was that people said the color was off a bit, they were right. Not much, but you can see a slight differencce in the light. Other than the color being off a bit this unit is great. I had no problem installing this unit. Plan on getting another kit for my wifes truck after the ease with this one.

Although the fit and look of this kit is acceptable, the two plastic stabilizing pieces did not fit over the stereo sleeve, which left the head unit wobbly. Duct tape fixed that problem though. Better stabilization would have been nice.

Installed easily, quickly and according to instructions provided. I used this to install an Alpine single din headunit. Only thing I did was ad some support under the headunit in the back using duct tape and a thick piece of cardboard. It goes up between the storage slot and underneath the headunit. Just some extra support in case I go off road and the unit thinks it wants to bounce around. Worked as described, quality piece of equipment. Only thing wrong and it's just a slight thing...........color of the silver/grey is slightly off.
